For Telehealth Companies
Differentiate Your Brand Through Effective Provider Communication
In the field of healthcare, research has consistently demonstrated that effective communication by medical providers can reduce the risk of medical errors, foster patient satisfaction and ensure better patient outcomes.
When seen through the lens of telemedicine, we see an urgent need for medical providers to not only possess “good” communication skills, but have the ability to translate those skills into meaningful screen to screen communication.
At TanzerGlass, we work with our telemedicine providers to optimize their video presence and communication, so they can more effectively:
Create and sustain the sense of “human connection” when relating to a camera, computer, or screen
Minimize the incidence and impact of unconscious, unintentional behaviors (e.g. disengaging from the patient, erratic eye contact, nonessential multitasking)
Leverage vocal, postural, and nonverbal communication to maximize patients’ attention and engagement
Manage the technical aspects of working on video (e.g. simulating eye contact, staying “in frame,” optimizing lighting, “staging” a professional surrounding environment)
